The Godet family of Dutch origin, is based in La Rochelle since 1730 in 1782 the company “GODET Freres” was established.
Nowadays, the house is owned by Mr Jean-Jacques Godet. Together with his brother Jean-Marie, who is responsible for the promotion and marketing.
Jean-Jacques made possible that this small quality house with a total of 25 employees export their top products to 47 countries.
Besides various types of fine Cognac is one among others, Armagnac, Brandy, Calvados, Pear Cognac and Pineau des Charentes.
The brandy has an dark amber appearance with copper hues.
On the nose it is very mild with a hint of vanilla and oranges.
